Most HubPages members take part in Adsense earnings. Adsense is the most popular advertising platform on the web and almost all Hubs in the HubPages universe use Adsense ads. Here are some tips that you need to implement to improve your HubPages Adsense Earnings.
Tip #1: Write Longer Articles
For your articles to perform better, you need to write longer articles. I would suggest at least 600 words. Furthermore, break up the content into modules so that you create separation and sub-headings. Furthermore, more content will help Adsense bring the most relevant ads to the page.
While there isn’t clear documentation on the connection between content length and Adsense performance, from my own personal observations I believe there is a connection.
Tip #2: Set Adsense Settings to “High”
This is definitely the most productive Adsense setting on HubPages so make sure every Hub you create you is set for “High” adsense settings.
Tip #3: Don’t Overcrowd Your Hub With Other Affiliate Capsules
You don’t want to over clutter the Hub. Don’t give the user a bunch of other options where they are going to click on other items versus Adsense. The reality is that if you’re aim is Adsense in this particular Hub, you will generate more Adsense clicks if you don’t offer other affiliate products via Amazon or something. Keep the ads and then fill the page up with relevant text.
Tip #4: Traffic! (Duh)
Obviously the more traffic the more earnings, so make sure you’re doing everything you can to boost the traffic to your Hubs. For more information on monetizing your hubs and boosting your traffic check out How To Make Money on HubPages.
